Scope and acceptance

These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of jepsi.no, including accounts, marketplace features, reviews, messages and other website functions.

The website is operated by HANSIVAR.NO BENDIKSEN, Norwegian organisation number 983 987 532 (“Jepsi”, “we”, “us”). By using Jepsi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the website.

Mandatory rights under applicable law are not limited by these Terms.

Eligibility and accounts

You must have legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Jepsi only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian and where the relevant service is appropriate for you.

You must provide accurate and current information, keep your login credentials confidential and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from circumstances outside your reasonable control.

You may not impersonate another person, create deceptive accounts, transfer an account without permission or use another person’s account without authorisation.

The Jepsi service

Jepsi is an online marketplace for digital products. It provides technical services that may include product discovery, store pages, checkout, digital delivery, accounts, reviews, messaging and dispute communication.

Unless Jepsi is expressly identified as the seller, products are offered by the seller named on the product page and order confirmation. Jepsi does not become the creator, licensor or seller of a third-party product merely by hosting or facilitating the transaction.

Features may change over time. We may introduce, modify or discontinue features for operational, legal, security or commercial reasons, subject to applicable notice requirements and existing contractual rights.

Related agreements

These Terms apply to general use of the website. Additional terms apply when you buy or sell:

• the Purchase and Sale Agreement governs transactions between buyers and sellers;
• the Seller Agreement governs stores and professional use of Jepsi;
• the Refund and Return Policy explains cancellation and refund handling; and
• our privacy and cookie information governs personal-data processing.

If specific transaction terms conflict with these general Terms, the more specific terms apply to that transaction.

Acceptable use

You must use Jepsi lawfully, honestly and without harming other users, the service or third parties. You must not:

• upload, list, share or link to illegal, infringing, fraudulent, deceptive or unlawfully discriminatory content;
• sell or promote malware, stolen material, counterfeit products, unlawful personal data or products that facilitate crime;
• harass, threaten, exploit or deceive another person;
• manipulate reviews, ratings, searches, prices, transactions or marketplace visibility;
• send spam or conduct unauthorised advertising or data collection;
• bypass security, access controls, payment systems or technical restrictions;
• introduce malicious code, overload the service or interfere with its operation; or
• violate intellectual-property, privacy, consumer-protection or other rights.

User content and licence

You retain ownership of content you submit, including listings, images, text, reviews and messages (“User Content”). You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions.

You grant Jepsi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display and technically process User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and promote Jepsi and the relevant store or listing. The licence ends when content is deleted, except for reasonable backups, legal retention, transaction records and material already lawfully used in an ongoing campaign.

This licence does not transfer ownership or permit Jepsi to sell your content as a standalone product.

Jepsi intellectual property

The Jepsi name, logo, website design, software and Jepsi-created content are protected by intellectual-property laws. Unless these Terms or the law permit it, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license or exploit them without written permission.

You may use the name and logo factually to link to Jepsi or identify your Jepsi store, provided you do not imply endorsement, partnership or ownership and follow published brand guidance.

Reviews and communications

Reviews must reflect a genuine experience and be relevant, honest and respectful. You must not buy, sell, fabricate, manipulate or condition reviews on benefits, threats or retaliation. Fair criticism is allowed, but reviews must not contain unlawful content, confidential information or unnecessary personal data.

Messages and support requests must relate to legitimate use of Jepsi. We may restrict abusive messaging, spam or fraudulent attempts to evade platform safeguards.

Reporting illegal or infringing content

Report a listing, review, account or other content that you believe is illegal or infringes rights by emailing contact@jepsi.no or using our contact form.

Please include:

• the exact URL or precise location of the content;
• a clear explanation of the alleged illegality or infringement and relevant legal basis;
• supporting evidence and, for rights claims, authority to enforce the right;
• your name and email address, unless anonymous reporting is legally permitted; and
• a good-faith statement that the supplied information is accurate and complete.

We may request more information. Knowingly false, abusive or bad-faith reports may result in restrictions and legal liability.

Content moderation

Jepsi may investigate reported content or conduct and matters identified through reasonable checks. We may leave content unchanged, request correction, reduce visibility, remove or disable content, pause payments where lawful, restrict features, suspend an account or terminate access.

Decisions consider context, severity, frequency, evidence, user risk, legal duties and proportionality. Review may be manual and supported by technical tools, spam filters or fraud detection. We do not undertake a general duty to monitor all activity.

Where required and reasonably possible, affected users receive a clear explanation of a restriction, its main grounds and review options. Information may be withheld where disclosure is prohibited or would compromise security, an investigation or another person’s safety.

Account restriction and termination

We may restrict an account where we reasonably believe there has been a material or repeated breach, illegality, fraud, security risk, payment abuse or harm to users or Jepsi.

Except where immediate action is reasonably necessary, we will normally give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Immediate action may be taken for serious illegality, fraud, threats, security incidents, repeated violations, legal orders or urgent risk.

You may request account closure, subject to unresolved orders, payment obligations, record retention and rights already granted to buyers.

Review of moderation decisions

If your content, account or access is restricted, request review at contact@jepsi.no. Identify the decision, explain why you believe it is wrong and provide relevant evidence.

We will review eligible requests in a timely, impartial and proportionate manner and communicate the outcome. Applicable external complaint, dispute-settlement, regulatory and court rights remain unaffected.

Security and platform integrity

You must not test or probe Jepsi’s security without written authorisation. Report vulnerabilities responsibly to contact@jepsi.no and do not access, alter or disclose data beyond what is necessary to describe the issue.

We use reasonable safeguards but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, provider outages, attacks and events outside reasonable control may affect availability. We will take reasonable steps to restore service and protect users.

Third-party services and links

Jepsi may rely on payment processors, authentication providers, analytics, hosting and external links. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply.

We are not responsible for independent third-party services merely because Jepsi links to or integrates with them. This does not limit responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or our obligations when selecting and operating providers.

Privacy and communications

Our privacy and cookie information explains the use of personal data and similar technologies. You must not collect, disclose or misuse another user’s personal data through Jepsi.

We may send service messages needed for accounts, security, orders, legal notices and material changes. Marketing is sent only where permitted, and non-essential marketing may be unsubscribed from.

Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms for legal, security, service or legitimate business reasons. The current version and effective date will be published here.

For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice where required. Changes will not retroactively reduce rights acquired in completed transactions. If you do not accept a change, you may stop using the affected service before it takes effect.

Service assurances and disclaimers

Jepsi will provide the website with reasonable care and skill. User-supplied marketplace content may contain errors, and buyers should evaluate listings and licence terms before purchase.

To the extent permitted by law, Jepsi does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular commercial result, every user’s identity or conduct, or that every third-party product meets an individual purpose. This does not exclude statutory guarantees, remedies for digital services, liability for our own breach or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

Liability

Each party is responsible for foreseeable loss caused by its breach to the extent provided by law. Jepsi is not responsible for indirect business loss, lost profit or loss caused solely by another user where exclusion is lawful and Jepsi has fulfilled its duties.

Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, mandatory consumer rights, data-protection duties or other liability that cannot legally be limited. Business users may have additional terms under the Seller Agreement.

Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. This does not deprive consumers of mandatory protection under the law of their habitual country of residence where applicable.

Please contact us first. Consumers may also use an available consumer authority or dispute-resolution body. Disputes may be brought before a competent court under applicable jurisdiction and venue rules.
